#DenimDay4Dementia

North Dublin Home Care will be hosting our own Denim Day for Dementia to raise awareness for Dementia and raise funds for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. We have decided to support this cause as Dementia is a cause close to our hearts and we feel there is not enough awareness of the disease. North Dublin Home Care has also become the first home care company to roll out Dementia Awareness training for all our staff. Why is dementia a cause so close to our hearts? There are 55,000 people in Ireland living with Dementia, a disease that doesn’t have the recognition or research it needs, by supporting the Alzheimer Society you are contributing to vital dementia services.

To support our Denim Day please wear your Denim to work on Friday the 6th of March 2020, donate €2 by dropping into the office and spread the word about #DenimDay4Dementia. Anyone who donates will be entered into a raffle to win a hamper which includes a €100 one for all voucher.

With this being our first fundraiser hosted by North Dublin Home Care we hope to create lots of excitement and awareness in the lead up to and on the 6th of March. Keep an eye out , on our website and social media for pictures of our fabulous staff wearing their Denim, updates on money raised and a live recording of our raffle draw.
